General Information

Triveni College of Education, Nawada is established in 2009 under Lakshya Educational & Welfare Trust and having college campus at Nawada. The College is Recognised by ERC, NCTE Govt. of India and Affiliated to Magadh University, Bodhgaya.

          The Triveni College of Education is in a well equipped building with well equipped laboratories, library and other essential facilities as required by the National Council for Teacher Education. It is established in the peaceful, area and well communication from Railway & Road.

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION :

          The minimum educational qualification required for admission to D.El.Ed is Inter or equivalent with 50% marks, for B. Ed course is Bachelor's/Master Degree or equivalent with 50% Marks and for M.Ed course is B.Ed or equivalent with 50% marks.

 

RESERVATION OF SEATS

          The college follows strictly the policy of reservation of the Govt. of Bihar in case, there is no candidate for reserved categories, the seats will be offered to candidates outside these categories.

FOREIGN STUDENT & NRI

          Seats are also reserved for Foreign and NRI student as per direction from Govt. of Bihar. They should have proper equivalent qualification approved by the Govt. of India, Ministry of HRD.

          Application for admission test should be made in the prescribed form which can be obtained from the college office or authorised centres. Application received after the closing date or incomplete in any respect will be rejected.

 

ENCLOSURES

All filled up application forms for admission test shall be accompanied :-

(i)      Photocopy of all certificates and marksheets (from matric to higher education).

(ii)      Photocopy of certificate of matriculation or equivalent examination, for proof of age.

(iii)     Photocopy of C.L.C./M.L.C./D.L.C. according to qualification.

(iv)     Photocopy of character certificate.

(v)      One self addressed and stamped Rs. 30/- envelope for -correspondence.

(vi)     Two Passport size and one stamp size recent colour photographs.

(vii)    Photocopy of Caste certificate (in case of SC/ST/OBC)

(viii)   Photocopy of medical certificate from a Civil Surgeon practitioner (in case of physical handicapped).

 

CERTIFICATE VERIFICATION FOR ADMISSION

(i)      Candidate will have to produce all original marksheets, certificate and testimonials at the time of counselling or interview for admission.

(ii)      Admission of any candidate is provisional and may be cancelled if any discrepancy is detected or the candidate fail to comply with the rules & regulations, and other conditions as laid down by the college.

(iii)     Admission even after confirmation may be cancelled in case the students don't attend 80% classes & show satisfactory progress in their review monthly studies.

(iv)     In case a candidate fails to report on the due date with the required documents and fee for admission, He/She will forfeit his/her claim for admission and the seat so render vacant will be allotted to other candidate.

(v)      Rules of eligibility are followed strictly. The college however reserves the right to refuse admission to any candidate without assigning any reason.

PHYSICAL FITNESS

          The applicant should have good Health and free from any mental  and infectious diseases. Therefore the candidates will have to submit medical certificate from a Civil Surgeon practitioner.

APPLICATION FORM BY HAND

          The prospectus and the application form for admission shall be available at the counter of the College on all working days. Prospectus with application form is priced at Rs. 750/- (Rs. Seven Hundred Fifty Only). This can be obtained from the Triveni College of Education at Nawadah.

APPLICATION FORM BY POST

          Request for the supply of application forms, should be accompanied with a Bank Draft for Rs. 800/- (Rs. Eight Hundred Only) duly crossed in the favour of Triveni College of Education payable at Nawadah.

         Acceptance of the application form is subject to payment of Rs.750/- (Rs. Seven Hundred Fifty Only) in the form of Demand Draft in the favour of Triveni College of Education payable at Nawadah..

SUBMISSION OF APPLICATION

          The application form should carefully fill-up by the candidate as per instruction mentioned therein. Incomplete forms may be rejected.

       

LAST DATE FOR RECEIPT OF APPLICATIONS

          The candidates are required to submit their application form either personally or by Registered Post with one self addressed envelop with requisite stamp for registered -correspondence, before / on the date fixed for it in the advertisement.

SELECTION PROCEDURE

          The merit list of successful candidates will be drawn up on the basis of the marks obtained in the entrance test and personal interview.

          The candidate whose name appears on the merit list must report within the prescribed dates. The successful candidates from out of the state will be informed by post immediately. They will have to report within the prescribed dates to deposit their fees and for securing admission. Failure to report in time may lead to cancellation of selection. The candidates have to report to the principal who would sign an acknowledgement slip and give date and time after verifying that the candidate's name appears on the merit list. Admission will be offered to candidates as per serial number in merit and waiting list subject to availability of seat after his/her certificate etc. are checked to be in order, the principal who would then give the candidate an authority to deposit fees.

          The candidate must deposit the fees at the same day. In case of any complaint/difficulty about the payment of fees. Principal may be contacted without fail. Admission can not be guaranteed if fees are not paid on the day on which the authorisation to deposit the fees have been issued.

          The merit/waiting list shall be displayed on the Notice Board of the college and successful candidates will be informed by post on the address mentioned in their application form.

          Although the college will try its best to send intimation regarding selection, the candidates are advised to see Notice Board of the college on the date fixed for putting up the merit list.

          There will be no responsibility of the college regarding non-receipt of Admission Card by post.

Payment of FEES AND Other Charges

          The amount of tuition fees and other charges will be fixed by the college authority each year. Keeping in view the amount of tuition fees recommended by Management/Govt., once realised will not be refunded in any case.

 

PAYMENT OF FINES

          Student shall have to pay on demand, any fine imposed on him or the cost of any damage or loss or library books, equipment or other college property. Failure to do so, may result in the expulsion of the student from the institution Rolls.

STRIKING OFF ROLL

          The name of the student may be struck off the rolls on account of the following.

          (i)    His/her own request endorsed by his parent/guardian.

          (ii)   Continued absence without obtaining leave for six consecutive days.

          (iii)  Irregular attendance and poor progress in studies.

          (iv)  Poor progress in studies.

            (v)     Non - payment of any fee/fine as levied by college authority for 20 days, after the last date of payment. The principal however, may grant not more than 10 days of grace in deserving cases on application by the parents/guardians.

          Now withstanding anything contained above in the matter of striking off Rolls the college will follow the audit-electrum pertain principal i.e. parents/guardian of the concerned students will be given reasonable opportunity in this regard.

DUES :

          All dues to the college should be cleared by student before they are permitted to appear in Annual/Final examination.

TEST AND EXAMINATIONS :

            Each students shall take the respective examination conducted by the college/university and department of Education Government of Bihar as per the following rules :

          (i)      Courses of Study : Each student shall attend and complete the required courses of study including the Theory, Practical, Practising Class and sessional as prescribed by NCTE, Bihar School Examination Board the college or the university.

          (ii)      Attendance : At the end of the academic year the student who fails to secure 80% of attendance in each subject (Theory and Practical, Practising separately) will not be allowed to appear in the Annual Examination conducted by the Authorities/Universities/Board.

DISCIPLINE

          All students admitted to the college will be under the complete disciplinary control of the administration of the college or any other officer appointed by the college for the purpose and must conduct themselves in accordance with disciplinary rules of the college as framed and notified by the principal from time to time.

LIBRARY FACILITIES :

          The college has been provided with good library and the students are advised to make full use of the same.

          Well equipped library with text and reference book, Education Encyclopedia, Year Book, Electronic publication, CD-Rom and journals on teacher education.

 

LABORATORY :

          Books of Science, Psychology, Health Education, Physiology and Anatomy laboratory with apparatus for experiments related to education are available.

 

Hostel :

          A full fledged hostel facility with sufficient rooms having 24 hours water & electricity is available for boys & girls separately.

 

Playground :

          Games facilities with a playground, Yoga, Indoor games are also available.

 

Swimming Pool :

          Having well designed swimming pool in the college campus is available.

 

PRACTICAL AND PRACTICE TRAINING

          Students may be detained for practical & practice training during the period of summer vacation. They also may be required to undergo such practical and practice training as prescribed by the college according to syllabus, before the award of the training facilities for training during their course of study and training and placement after completion of the courses are being arranged for the student. The objective of this and placement programme is to impart proper training to students with a view to make them suitable for (i) securing proper placement in the field (ii) Getting admission for higher studies based on the individual talent and aptitude. The field practice and practical training are arranged at the cost, risk, liability and responsibility of the students on his/her parents/guardians.

EDUCATION TOUR

          Education Tour will be conducted for final year students in different regions of India in autumn vacation in accordance with relevant rules.

 

GAMES AND SPORTS

          The students are expected to take part in games and sports. Facilities for both indoor as well as outdoor games may be provided by the college.

 

CO-CURRICULAR ACTIVITIES

            Students are expected to take active interest in co-curricular activities like eloquence dramatics, music, debate, etc. Each student must become a member of Training Society of the College. The college may establish hobby centres through which students may pursue hobbies like photography, painting cultural, sport activities etc.

 

TEXT BOOKS AND EQUIPMENTS

          All students shall have to manage on their own accord text books which the college, the university or the Board, NCTE  may prescribed from time to time.

          Parents/Guardians are advised to see their wards to procure the text books and other necessary items to cope up with the learning process and simultaneously for the qualitative class room interactions in particular academic standards in general
